Azu is from Cayambe. In 2013, she participted in the German «weltwärts» programme and lived a year as a volunteer in Berlin. Back in Ecuador, she gathered professional experience in various social organisations.

In Vientos Sur, which she co-founded with Evelin Cobo, Azu is in charge of the North-South «weltwärts» programme and of the social management.

Azu has a degree in pedagogy from the Central University of Ecuador in Quito.

Azu es de Cayambe. En 2013 participó en el programa alemán «weltwärts» y vivió un año en Berlín como voluntaria. De vuelta a Ecuador, adquirió experiencia profesional en varias organizaciones sociales.

En Vientos Sur, que cofundó con Evelin Cobo, Azu es responsable del programa Norte-Sur de «weltwärts» y de la gestión social.

Azu es licenciada en Educación por la Universidad Central de Ecuador, en Quito.
